Caught between two worlds. That’s how they explained flying to me – or was that falling in love. As you’re soaring you’re coming down…I had wrapped my limbs so closely in her sapphire sheets, but those wisps…I can laugh now. Remember, when we imagined it to be candy floss…sweet yet, ephemeral. We were deceived. Curling, rippling, waving, that’s falling out of love. Embroidered so…delicately into her soft blue sheets, drawing the thin horizon into a silver thread, a sliver of a thread, a single thread, a single threat. I didn’t even notice the turbulence, just the two oceans, rippling into one, sky, falling yet soaring…that’s genuinely how she said good-bye.
